On Friday, January 31, 2014, the National Labor Relations Board issued a complaint against Orlando Health for multiple violations of important American freedoms- the civil right for American employees to seek to self organize and collectively bargain their wages, hours, and working conditions. These violations all took place in the past few months, and they all happened in the wake of Orlando Wealth’s careless and callous treatment of it’s employees. NNOC will help to assure the law is upheld and OH pays the price for this activity.

Orlando Health Violates Rights of Employees...

Feds Issue Sweeping Complaint of Discrimination, Coercion, Restraint, and Interference with the Exercise of Nurses’ Federally Protected Workplace Rights.  Did you know that you have the right to decide whether you want to organize and use your rights, or just accept what Orlando Health decides to take from you next? Did you know that you have the right to not be coerced or threatened? Did you know that you have the right to be open and proud of your organization, fighting for patients in Orlando and across Florida? That’s right. While RNs are working hard to protect their patients in the hospital and the community, Orlando Wealth has been caught in the Act of interfering with that goal- called "Unfair Labor Practices".

What's Next?

The National Labor Relations Board has ordered Orlando Health to go to a federal Hearing to decide the outcome of this. There are 2 weeks for the Hospitals to respond. They have the option of settling before the hearing. Registered Nurses are hopeful that they decide to admit wrongdoing, and start playing fair.
